SUMMER IS NEARLY HERE...

We have had a wonderful SUMMER TERM at GymKidz consisting of competitions, festivals & displays.

The gymnasts have all worked extremely hard learning new skills, completing badges & certificates and just generally being superstars!

We are very proud of the progress and achievements they have made.

All GymKidz sessions finish on Friday 12th July and we cant wait for another full on AUTUMN TERM at GymKidz.

GYMKIDZ & LEO ACADEMY GYMNASTICS COMPETITION

This year we had the pleasure of hosting 2 separate competitions for all the keen gymnast who attend the LEO schools.

On 19th June, the Year 3 & 4 teams arrived at Cheam Common ready & raring to go, we had 10 teams competing from different school and everyone did a fantastic job on floor & vault.

Results below:

1st = Cheam Park Farm

2nd = Cheam Fields

3rd = Brookfield

Year 5 & 6 took to the competition stage on Wednesday 25th June and did equally as well with 6 teams competing. Results below:

1st = Cheam Park farm

2nd = Shawley

3rd = Cheam Common Juniors

CHRISTMAS DISPLAYS

We finished off the Autumn Term in style with some festive fun Christmas displays. All of our gymnasts performed beautifully in front of family & friends, as well as impressing their teachers and peers in whole school assemblies.

A WONDERFUL WEEK OF DISPLAYS AT ALL OF OUR SCHOOLS

The GymKidz put of some amazing displays during their last week of training. We had lots of lovely comments from parents & teachers to say how much they thought the children had improved and progressed in their gymnastics. Well done to everyone involved and thank you to all of our members for their continued support, we couldn't do it with out you all.

SUMMER CAMP 2023

We will be looking at putting on another camp during October half term, so look out for details.

OUR FIRST EVER...LEO ACADEMY & GYMKIDZ COMPETITION

During the Spring Term pupils from Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6 competed against each other in a floor & vault competition.

For many children, this was their first ever gymnastics competition, so there were lots of nerves and excitement around the event. It was a brilliant competition where gymnasts were able to show off their skills in a fun and competitive environment. Medals were awarded to all teams gaining 1st, 2nd & 3rd place as well as trophies for the highest scoring gymnasts of the day! WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED.
